St. John Lutheran School Receives Nation’s Top Honor

 
The U.S. Department of Education recently named St. John Lutheran School as a 2008 No Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon School.  The award distinguishes and honors select schools across the country for helping students achieve at the highest levels.

 

 The Facts – Who Receives the Award?

            

·        320 schools nationwide received the award this year

·        50 private schools nationwide received the award

·        Nine schools in Missouri were chosen – of these, two were elementary schools and one middle school

·        Only two Lutheran schools in the entire U.S. were recognized as Blue Ribbon schools

 

 

The Message – What this means for St. John?

            

·        Our students continue to excel and are performing in the top 10% of the nation in standardized tests

·        Our curriculum and ongoing improvements have created a compelling learning environment and ultimately, benefited students

·        Our efforts to provide a quality Christian education are being recognized nationally 

 
 

We are honored by this prestigious award and are blessed by the
incredible faculty and staff leading our children.  We continue to give God
the glory for what we’ve accomplished and will continue to “press on with
